I have bought this game a long time ago, but decided to replay it just today. And... I have a single question - WTF!!! All modifications I saw so far were useless and ruine this exelent game! Even some good ideas as for example with custom portraits in main selection were ruined by not supporting small versions of portraits any more (can't create a face crop - game use a scaled down large version instead)! The first bell I got when discover that it was added some protraits to the original list that totally distract BG drawing style. Then reworked interface that become ugly and try to bring some Diablo style to BG! Next - spell book redisign.... And the last one that force me to close this game and write down this angry comment an interface bugs, as example one of them makes even impossible to open window with passed attacks more that on two lines! The most pitty for me, that I throw out an original version that was on CDs when I bought these .... And now I has no more original version of this great game. :(
I overviewed this game, and it looks really nice and promising so far. I will definetly buy this game as soon it will be released (if developers will not break it till release). At this moment biggest cons I found are: * It need some markers on a top of quest/merchant characters instead of on compass. Or mark them in some another way visually directly in game otherwise npc search is not a gameplay but just "locate it by compass". As another decision make npc more individual to recognize them visually. * It will be very usefull to have a home village marker on compass. * Some logical gaps definetly should be fixed (for example:killing 1 boar gives about 4 meat pieces, each meat restore only about 8 hunger. So you eated a whole adault boar and it was not enought to restore hunger? Really? It should be enought for several days or persons! Or another example from one big tree you can produce 4 spears? Really? From a tree?) * More detailed help / separate tutorial will be welcomed as well. (I hope it is planed in the development roadmap) Many others things I hope are in development roadmap as well (personalization, pretie and more varied models, real npc that joins into the player village, swimming and more and more....) But I really will follow up this game with hope it will be finished on the good level and it will be realy worth to purchase it.
Если говорить про серию Космические Рейнджеры вообщем - то я полностью солидарен с предидущими коментаторами - игра шедевр. Нет даже не такю Игра ШЕДЕВР! Вот! Вот так будет правильно. Но вот говоря конкретно об Революции - всё не так уж однозначно... Введение пиратской линии с одной стороны добавляет сложности в игру, что помоему конено плюя, но с другой стороны, диалоги правительств для нее явно писались на коленке. В квестовой системе влияния тоже не проработано. Так что реакция не однозначная. А вот за то что сотворили с гипером.... вызывает один мат. Буквально на каждом сантиметре натыканы отталкивающе - притягивающии области, играть стало просто (...тут много мата)..... вместо аркадно стратегической игры получилась какой то пинболб где ты сражаешся не спротивниками, а с дебильными областями. Конечно можно сказать, не нравится - не играй, но в том то и дело, что и в части доминмторов и клиссан - это была хорошая значимая часть игры, которую по моему тут убили. В ообщем вердикт - Для коллекции можно купить, да и пройти разок можно, но вот в следующий раз буду играть в Доминаторов.
Игра супер, особенно в русской локализации, той где на заставку группу Аукцыон прикрутили. "За мною зажигали города, глупые чужие города..." В игре проведено сотни часов.
Игра - супер. Куплена ещё на CDшках в далеких годах. Возвращался к ней не раз. И не раз ещё вернусь. Вот только... когда же на GOG-e появится Русская версия?! Приобрету её повторно, как только появится. А пока что, игра в категории NO RUSSIAN - NO BUY.
