The good is the gameplay, gunfiring, melee less so, there are some great moments in quest, main and side ones. it feels fun doing the jobs. there are some great NPCs in here too. But... -Glitches. period. ...everybody says it's full of glitches, and I've seen then, some funny, others rather annoying. I had to move the game to a ssd because cars would not load properly. Like, this is the only game I had to move to a SSD to actually make it more playable. -stats. Yes it's a rpg, but I imagine, this game would've been much better if it was a GTA clone. I've heard some stuff about the game being "style over substance" and being able to dress however I wanted... not, I had to use anything that had the highest stats, just like the memes of "Dressing for the Lobby/Dressing for the boss". The increment of stats, they are like "10% decrease in air resistance", "5% more chances of finding junk in a room", all I had to continue the game was a gun I found in a quest, stealth and my skills with the mouse. -Personalization, it's close to none, I was actually hoping to make a character that was mine, but it turns out, I found it limited, at least compared with what I was expecting. I wanted at least to be able to use "stock" V, but nope, "V is my character, that's just a sugestion". - The main story, it has great moments, but isn't to my please, and the ending, while i felt that was fitting (more fitting with some headcannoning), it still feels like I ... did it wrong or it wasn't what V wanted, when it felt kinda obvious that V wanted that relic thing out of his head, and there are dialogues about not liking Johnny around sometimes. - Why, why can't I keep stolen cars??? V can do all things illegal BUT keep stolen cars. "You have to be linked with it by buying it" isn't Netrunning a thing? and Why they have to stop near mission areas, why can't I drive closer to mission points??

This is not Vermintide 2. I see people comparing these games, and at face value, one would think this is Warhammer 40K version of the Vermintide power fantasy. Not. It's a bit of tactical, you just have to point your gun and shoot, if the xenos(morphs? one type of them reminds me of the alien...) get to close, press Q to shred the impure (is that how WH40K fans says?) but get out in the open and death shall be served, heal too many times and you might not heal at all later. You've got to make wise choises, resources are limited and you're not semi-invincible, you can't jump out in the crowds of xenos screaming "FOR THE EMPEROR" with a chainsaw blade screeching at hand. It's a bit of survival, because of what's written above, the point is to .... I think the overarching objective of the game is to seize control of the space ship, eliminate the xenos and defuse any threat that might lie there. So the point is to stay alive, do what you must and get out. But there is a bonus for killing xenos and finding collectibles. It's possibly horror, because it's dark (ScArY dArK) all the time, enemies might come from anywhere, and compounds with above. But, I think that it would not be tactical enough for people who enjoy tactical games, it would not be survival enough for people who like survival games and another person might say it's not horror at all. and Guns are alright, not comparable to the F.E.A.R. shotgun (obvs.) but neither bad, it definitely could be better, this games lacks (more) flying guts and ground xenos meat. but certainly, it's Warhammer 40K. So possibly it's for 40K fans, and people who would like something a bit tactical, a bit survival and a bit scary. it's not the 40K version of Verminite, that's for sure. It is its own thing, and there is cross-play multiplayer.

It's smoother, bloodier, "wangier"... it's better than the first on many aspects. But it lost a bit of what was great in the first one, I think, which is: The Katana. It felt so amazing to play with that sword, one could play the entire game with that weapon if it wasn't for some annoying enemies that would need the use of another weapon. Now, there are even more options of melee weapons, but none of then feel the same as before. You can cut enemies in even more pieces, though. The Levels I don't mind the levels, they are fun to run (actually dash or zip) and wang around, but they are not as ... as the levels on the first one. They were more trhilling in the first one, this one feels more like a semi open arena of sorts. I barely know them well even if I keep coming and going on all of them to do the missions, and the futuristic level is a bit boring with all those robots that are the least likeable of the enemies, I think. Killing the fleshed monsters and the spirits are much more fun and bloodier. The Story. It felt, so far, a bit missable.... it shows the developments mostly when missions start and end, hardly anything in between, just the chatter "inside the head" of lo wang, which is not that well presented, they could do just like in the first game with Hoji. and it feels there are waaay more wang jokes than the first one. This game feels even more fanciful than the first one (not a bad thing per se). The Cookies. Now there are actual, "thought provoking" cookies, even with the credit for the quote, it took a long while to find some actually funny and/or made up "wisdom". ------------------------ Overall, the game is indeed enjoyable, it's just not the same game as the 2013 reboot with more story and enemies to cut, its a different game, with tons of collectibles, stats and levels to enhance wang (like in a RPG, borderlands and the like) more story and an "awful lot more" enemies to cut.
