Grim Fandango Remastered

A masterpiece

oh lala, this game is so FUNNY, i have laughed so much during this game and you still want more. This adventure is crazy, astonishing, original, so original that it is great. I don't know what to say except it is worth playing. SO GOOD!!!

Broken Sword 2: Remastered (2010)

Amazing like the first one.

The second installment of the Broken Sword series is good and the adventure goes on on a positive funny tone. The main characters have not changed, they still have the same personalities. New location to visit and to unravel mysteries, which are always surprising and cool. Some did not like this one like the first one but i think it's worth the first one. They are both great games ad if you have the first Broken Sword, you can't stay away from this one, It won't disappoint you, on the contrary you will be delighted and excited. For a long time, this one has stayed my favorite.

Broken Sword: Director's Cut

The best Point and Click adventure

If you want to try one point and click adventure game, start with this one. Broken Sword is the best of it all. Personally, that game gave the desire to play more of these game but not all are as good as this one. The story is amazing, the dialogues are funny and well written, the puzzles are cool and the characters are lovable. Don't forget the environment, which is beautiful (places like Paris, Ireland, Spain, Syria,... are all well represented and drawn) and the animations are just great. This game is worth buying and having. i have played a hundred times and i am still invested.

Mortal Kombat 1+2+3

The Best Kombat games ever on a console

Mortal Kombat is the one game that open the path to combat games. If you haven't play the games, shame on you! get it fast and play it. To this day those games still hold on. Who doesn't know Liu Kang, Raiden, Sub-zero, Scorpion so many iconic characters and with those 3 games you see the evolution of them all in the series. This trilogy is a must-have.

Broken Sword 3: The Sleeping Dragon (2003)

Great continuation but weaker

Let's say it straight up! i liked the first 2 better. This one is good but something bothered me until now: the ending. I have played it several years ago when it came out in PS2 and i was traumatized by such a bad ending. George fighting a dragon come on! Hate it. However, the 3D TRANSITION WAS A PLUS AND THE LANDSCAPE IS STILL COLORFUL AND BEAUTIFUL. The puzzle are not too hard, relationship between George and Nicole still disappoints: They never could figure out what to do with those two. Don't get me wrong, the Broken Sword series is my favorite in the point and click adventure games world. it's always a pleasure to play them. It's a Must-play though, you won't regret it.

J.U.L.I.A. Among the Stars

Playable

This game is full of surprises and i enjoyed playing it even though the ending was poor. The puzzles are ok, the fact that i am a sci-fi fan helped liking the game. The story is well thought and the investigations to know what happened to the crew is interesting: the more you discover, the more you realize that human beings are bad. Some stuff i didn't like though: the dialogues. J.U.L.I.A and Rachel have some unnerving cheesy exchange and damn how i laughed hearing a robot saying "Shut up" to a human being lol that was outta place, and Mobot being scared, WHAT!!! how can a robot feel fear. It doesn't make sense. A few scare happens in the game with some alien encounters and the story of the solar system inhabitants is good i think. A few things hold up though: when you reach the planet and scan it you discover all details about it and when you send mobot there the cinematic is amazing. I didn't like J.U.L.I.A at all, too arrogant for a robot and does not look like one for me, even for a AI it is too much; she's a human being transformed in a robot by using a robot voice. Overall it's a good game if you can go through J.U.L.I.A annoying lines.

Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy)

The game that fathered the modern genre.

I know this game with another name attached to it: Fahrenheit. I remember when i first played this game in Playstation 2 a long time ago i was stunned by such originality. The story, the characters (in which you are completely invested throughout the game), the freedom you have to play as you want. The action sequences are also stunning, you control what happens at the time of the event. The possibility to control the main character to make choices as if they were yours was amazing. The first chapter gets directly into it, you investigate a murder search for clues; i just loved the beginning, just like a movie. The end dissapointed me a bit because the game went for mysticism and spell casting that unreal, for me. It was necessary to use some voodoo aspect in the story, i thought it did not reach the expectations i had for the game. However, i really enjoyed it mostly and i recommend it to you. Buy and Enjoy!!!
