DOOM was an outrageously good game at release, trancendat and a sub cultural phenomenon. Certain ascpects have dated a little, but overall it hold up as a near perfect game. What is crazy is that in hindsight this game still does many things better than any title ever released since, ive actually given up on games ever being this good again. This was te peak.
A good late to the party experience, graphics music and gameplay hold up, sound FX are not as compelling as the OG, but combat is well paced and fun. Typical nonsense plot to make you run around and kill stuff, good interesting enviroments to fight in and I quite liked the platforming aspets.
