Dishonored®: Death of the Outsider™

Dishonored : Death of the Outsider

Absolutely brilliant standalone, honestly feels a little cut down from dishonoured an dishonoured 2 in that the customisation/builds for 'powers' is different but with that aside it is an exceptionally well written and doesn't detract from any of the existing lore. I am curious if there could have been a tie in to the way you played dishonored 2 though because it feels like its set a bit after that and one of the choices from Dishonored 2 would significantly change Billie Lurk, it may have been harder to get through a mercy/ghost run but still.. food for thought! Definitely recommend if you enjoyed the Dishonoured titles.

We Happy Few

We Happy Few : Reviewed by Vairulv

We Happy Few is an exceptionally underrated game. We Happy Few manages to peel away a layer of reality and show what lies behind the curtain through a spectacular narrative in a way that is wonderfully subtle. Revelations on the nature of self delusion, through the gameplay it digs into human interactions, insecurities, chemical imbalance, the integrity of memory all set in a dystopian beautiful chaotic temporal bubble of a world. If you’re someone who reflects on a story long after playing the game then this one can really be profoundly haunting, especially when you think about the game on and off joy and how the reflection of joy in game is sort of serotonin and dopamine in life, it can leave you with some deep insights into manipulation and human nature and herd mentality and self regulation, seriously a lot to unpack from one game. The title says it all and in terms of gameplay it is an enjoyable edge of the seat romp through a highly stylised world. Yes there are some glitchy things and sometimes they can be annoying but given the impact this game can have for those who can see it they don’t detract As yet to play the addons but looking forward to it Great game and worth every cent.
