Silksong is just barely different enough from Hollow Knight to be frustrating. Attacks are different, your hitbox is bigger, there are more resources to manage, and creating a loadout is significantly more complicated. Hornet is a very vocal character, and Silksong took a lesson from Ori and added side quests. As a result, this feels much more like an RPG than a Metroidvania. That said, I was not a big fan of Hollow Knight. I feel the same way about Silksong, for the same reasons: it feels a bit generic. The upshot is that if you enjoyed Hollow Knight, you'll like Silksong.
