Great in development game

I'll get it out of the way up front. This game isn't polished yet, but writing while it's in development, I'm not expecting that. What I do see is a core game that's very good and fun. The interface will need some work to guide players a bit better, but I only made one catastrophic mistake a few minutes into my first game, and from there, my other mistakes were all recoverable (and kind of fun still). Very few true bugs (crashes and glitches) for a game at this stage too - better than some finished games! I love the terrain in this game and the way that paths and housing naturally occur based on where people want to be. It makes the game much more immersive, in my opinion. I like the concepts of the quests right now, though simple. Most of the game is resource management and building and expansion, but that's also what I expect from a city builder. I enjoyed both Cities:Skylines and Banished, and this one is different from both of them (though with Banished elements for sure). Different enough though to be a new kind of fun, I think. Just the fact that terrain isn't really a barrier makes the cities you can build here much more interesting. I've played about 5 or 6 hours so far, but am looking forward to more, and to seeing where they take this game. if you like city builders, this game is worth a try, even in its current state, I think.
