I really appreciate what GOG is trying to do here. But despite my pleading they haven't made available what I consider to be the best version. In this version (European version), the background music plays incessantly, never pausing to allow the player to be immersed in the game's eerie ambiance, as in the US version. It may seem like a small tweak but to someone who grew up with Twinsen's Odyssey as their favorite video game, it means everything.
