100%ed in about 3 hours. If you've played Beyond Good and Evil, this game is basically the photography sidequests in that, but as a whole game. I love collectathons and greatly enjoyed this, neat education wise too. Cute and wholesome with a pleasant art style and a real small-town feel. Very relaxing game to play, without being boring. The description provided by the devs is very honest and accurate. If you like animals, open worlds that aren't excessively large and barren, collectathons and a chill atmosphere, you will likely enjoy this game. Given it's only 3 hours to 100% though, depending on where you live it (regional pricing) might be worth waiting for a sale (full price is $24 AUD, I got it on sale for around $10ish and was satisfied). Taking away a star for the following reasons: -Lack of music hurts the atmosphere a bit. I can tell it's a stylistic choice but not all stylistic choices are good ones. -Movement speed is slow, this game needs a run button -Framerate isn't particularly stable, especially when taking photos, and there are no framerate options -Some jank here and there, particularly with the camera. In some areas it clips inside objects and causes weird rendering issues. After the game is beat, some NPCs are clipped inside each other and otherwise positioned strangely. Also saw a barn owl standing on nothing. -Bit of a nitpick but the diversity is a little lacking re: animal types. It's like 90% birds, the rest are basically all mammals. There is exactly one lizard in the game, and that makes me sad, as I love lizards.
