Still holds up even today. Some of it is still janky so if you want something super polished I recommend you look else where. Yet if you want abit of retro dnd which you can turn your brain off come here. Don't play on HARD as a first playthrough as the blocking mechcanics aren't good enough.
The more you play the easier it gets. It has a very graphic and bloody art style so if you are not into that please stay away. I am 5 hours in and I am enjoying it immensely.
There is alot of unfair levels, the rng is always against you and later levels are incredbily punishing. Units you think are good to begin are awful later on (Looking at you vyper). Still it's alot of fun, if you like modern graphics give this a miss.
