I did not want to buy the remaster. The old versions of Soul Reaver 1&2 dont run on my PC. Probably because i got them on Steam and not GOG. I had to buy the remaster in order to finish some unbeaten games. The remaster looks really nice and played really well. I am happy, that i bought it. Didnt finish the games as a kid, didnt finish the old versions on steam when i could last play them so I hope this is my time to shine :D
I played the beginning of the game without any real problems. A bunch of missing textures but nothing too bad. After the first train ride i joined the first people i met and was supposed to get some guy some meds. I ended my gaming session at that point. Next day i load in to the game. It crashes as soon as i move. I had saved in front of a door so i tried entering instead of moving. That worked and i could play inside of the building without problems. Upon leaving said building i had a 3-4 minute long loading screen and the game crashed as soon as i moved in the overworld. Basically unplayable for me but i liked what i could play so far.
