The Legend of Kyrandia: Hand of Fate (Book Two)

Fun, engaging, even for non-english kids

Looking for games that have female characters, to offsett the enormous male focus that kids grow up with. Huge bonus for this game not making an issue of the female choice. As is, there really isn't any reason for it to be female or male, other than too many male leads in the world of fiction already ;) Clickable, not needing to read or understand English is a huge bonus. For us adults, it's a memory come to life, and worth it. How this went down with the youngsters here: Like the best of parent-memory-lane trips! Like this: "aaargh, not one of those oldey things AGAIN! .... It is kinda fun though... Maybe... NO I DON'T WANT TO QUIT PLAYING AND GO TO BED YET!". so a full score here. Also, in this modern world of never-ending games, a game that has an end to find and reach is a wonderful change of pace.

Pharaoh + Cleopatra

I just keep coming back to these games!

I don't know how many years it's been since I tried my first demos of both these games. I pretty much suck at the genre, too, but still I keep coming back, trying to recreate that one time I actually made it quite far. Both games are like that for me. It's been a while since I got it to work properly on a new computer, so I've bought it here on GOG just to give some cash to those that keep these games alive and accessible to others. The game mechanichs are good, the way you can speed things up or slow them down to unbearably slow is good, the amount of guides and help online is great. Espescially for someone like me, that generally suck at these games. Build airier than you think you need.
