But I am a big fan of the pikmin series, and I do enjoy figuring out how to set up factories to generate the materials I need when there is an actual reason to do so beyond simply "Automate this". Oddsparks has enough exploration and excitement in it to effectively counterbalance what I would normally find to be a boring and grating process of setting up machinery in other games. Plus, the style and aesthetic are just perfect, you really can't go wrong with these cute little critters.
I'm sure I'm just another voice in the chorus of praise for this game. But the game is exactly as good as they say it is. The strategy is engaging. The building is entertaining. The story is enticing.
