Real Heroes: Firefighter HD

This is how I wanted a Firefighter Sim

Straight forward, proper action game, has mechanics where every tool is important, no VR wacky hand controls mechanic, got a story, got a good aesthetic that doesn't go for realism... Kind of reminds me of The Ignition Factor or The Firemen for SNES, both being very good fire fighting games. Real shame this approach to simulation isn't as common.

Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition

Had problems, but didn't fear much.

Bethesda is infamous for unstable mess of games... And Fallout 3 was surprisingly well stable! Any stutter I had were negligible, had VERY few crashes (most remedied through GOG's FAQ), and a grand time, although after some point the game felt like it was on the easier side. If I recommend it? ... Hell yeah.

The Mummy Demastered

Neither good nor bad, but OK

I'm going to try and be as expressive as I truly feel. Presentation? Gorgeous. Idea? Pretty amazing. Story? Eh... Difficulty? Scales too hard in the final half. I loved the good aspects of this game, most of the weapons (didn't like the Harpoon), and the abilities, although the difficulty scaled too hard and I had to force myself to just rush the best I could through the later half, ignoring enemies as the most dangerous respawning ones kept getting at my behind and I had to conserve ammo, since the pea shooter is nearly useless later on. One thing I was on the fence about is the Undead Agent system: neat idea, but if you die too far from a save point you'll have a bad time to even get there. And God knows what happens if it is in an area you need abilities to access (Softlock potential?) So to say... I don't RECOMMEND nor NOT RECOMMEND either, check other reviews, watch a few videos about it, see if you like and give it a shot. If you too feel on the fence, try Aliens Infestation on the Nintendo DS, it's much harder but gives a similar vibe in both gameplay and visual.
