No Man's Sky

Excellent

Dispite some (very old and obviously never ever changing) flaws I like this game because of the freedom of gameplay. There is allways a lot of things to do whitout the need to do a particular task right in this moment, so boredom is widely avoided. On the other hand, at (almost) every expedition you are forced to run the same old and wellknown story again and again. This is boring and only because in meanwhile I have learned to avoid to recive most of this storyquest, I judge it not too negative. Of corse you could just ignore the quests, but this leads to a lot of open quests in the list. Best practice is to quit as soon as the expedition is done completly and return to your favorit gameversion, where you then have your expedition-rewards anyway. At the last expedition I had even not a single base. Very nice is the graphic and with it the immersion and gets periodicaly better with the upgrades. Bravo! And not to forget the businessmodel itself. To buy a game once and then get all couple of month a lot of content FOR FREE is not very common in this in meanwhile mostly greedy gamebusiness at all. Thank you for this a lot.

Sorry I have to say this

It is amazing how many (copy/paste)reviewers don´t understand the difference between (game-)developers and providers (who have dev´s as well, but only to integrate the game in the system (GOG Galaxy in this case) and normaly are not allowed to change anything on the game itself). GOG can only sell, what they got a license for! There is allways a difference between GOG and steam: DRM. A review should help others to decide if the GAME fits there needs and not if it is somewhere else cheaper, better or have more content or don´t run on smart-toasters or linux or whatever! And no, I am not related to GOG other than a customer. To the game itself: price policy is a shame, wiki not existent, help poor and the graphic (for this pricelevel) less then optimal – even for 2018. But at least it works perfect and one can do everething that is needed – if he finds out (mostly on his own) how. It is what Sid Meyers Railroad pretended to be anno snow, but without bugs. A (model)railway enthusiast can spend unlimited and pleasurefull time in it.
