Cyberpunk 2077

Needs polish is an understatement.

I am sad to say that I am disappointed in Cyberpunk 2077. I expect day one bugs. Let's not kid ourselve and pretend like any game comes out flawless on dayone, but the sheer number of bugs was so overwhelming that it ruined my experience. The first bug I encountered was at the beginning of the game. I came out of V's appartment to find a guy floating in the air with his feet at eye level. At first, I thought he had hung himself, but when I look closer I saw that he was smoking a cigarette and looking around. NPCs are not the only things I find floating in the world. I find weapons, and random other objects floating in the air all over the place. The second bug that I noticed happened later in the game. After seeing Johnny Silverhand for the first time, I left my apartment and the curbs, crosswalks, NPC clothing, Cars, and buildings were cycling texture sets and flickering black and gold. I thought this was supposed to represent some side effect of the trauma he endured, but it persisted for several hours. The third bug I found was just as bad as the second. I had audio loss. there were times when subtitles would show up, but no one was moving their mouths, and other sounds started disappearing. This happened at pivotal story points. experiencing this in conjunction with the textures flickering forced me to restart the game. I also experienced a sever drop in FPS during the Johnny Silverhand memory flashback where he pushes the guy against the wall, and looks into the mirror. There was another time when Johnny Sivlerhand was smoking during dialogue and another unlit cigarette was just floating in front of his face. Those are the bugs that really stood out to me. My other issues with the game have to do with keyboard and mouse controls mapping. It frustrates me that the interact key is locked to F and cannot be remapped. I have already put in more than 17 hours of gamplay, and I have to say... I was expecting... more. I fugred it would have some bugs, but...
