This game is actually a legit Football Manager killer. I was a huge FM loyalist for, like, forever, but this one just gets it. It’s got that old-school vibe from the classic On the Ball games, but modernized in all the right ways. The menues have much more charm than the FM excel sheet style. I have seen some state that We Are Football is not as complex, and I can just say this is absolutely not true. The players have so many characteristics. The skills look like a proper skill tree from a role play game. There is so much to fine tune with tactics etc. And then you have the chance not only to take care of the players, but also build the statdium, facilities etc. There is just so much stuff you can do! And it always suprises you with special events, etc. I really like it. And with the updated database that is published by the community every year, this game can be played for any new season. I really hope its gonna be a series that will continue! Edit: Previously I stated that the game has crashes, however, the issues have resolved now and where only caused when clicking of one of the info buttons on the right bottom of the game.
