Idk what there is to say about Morrowind. The obvious things are the dice roll combat and the graphics, yada yada. Idk man, I grew up in the 90s and 2000s playing games and Morrowind was my first TES, so I'm very fortunate that I can appreciate the beauty of this game. :) I'm currently running a very modded installation and I'm pretty happy with it.
It's hard to write a review for a game from 1981 that I haven't finished. It was '81, right? Anyway, it's uhhhh......... Fun? I like the concept of drawing my own maps on graph paper (I actually mapped out the entirety of Dragon Warrior and Zelda on NES). I feel like most people here prolly played this back in the day, but I was born in 92. SNES was more my era. To sum this up, isn't this game like a dollar? Just buy it, if you're that interested. :P
Good story, good voice acting, cool setting, horrendous gameplay. Seriously, if I sit through this any longer I'm going to have a heart attack. Getting bounced around by 100 projectiles that blend in with the background, while Kain goes "UGH!! UGH!! UGH!!" yeah, fun. Soul Reaver was a thousand times better. I never want to play this again. I got all the way to the part with the 3 guardians of the pillars and that boss fight was just it for me. Most infuriating game I've ever played, cycling through 4 different menus trying to find my spells, items, and you think Simon Belmont getting knocked backwards is bad? Seriously... I feel very strongly that the only way to enjoy this heap is to travel back to when it was made, back before better games existed. Just watch a video on YouTube for the story, and skip to Soul Reaver. That's my reccomendation. I don't want to think about it anymore.
