The original where it all began. While this game dont have all the quality of life featuers the sequels had this game has unbeatable atmposphere and the loot system although not as manifold is better because it feels like finding magic items actually matter each time.
If you are interested in the diffrence betwen a falchion and mace except for damage numbers this is the game for you. A grim and gritty game managing a mercinary company. The world is filled with hard monsters and fights. You will have to do some serious choices when it comes to training and feeding your men. There is no epic tales here just anohter day trying to earn gold for the company doing bloody dirty work.
