As has been mentioned - this game is brilliant in principle - but let down somewhat by less than stellar production. Fortunately, the modding scene provides significant remedy for the Renaissance version of Guild 2. The unmodded game is worth three stars just for the originality and depth. With a mod pack making the game playable this is an essential part of any gamers chest.
