Cyberpunk 2077

Good story and action, but omg driving

I've enjoyed the stories, the characters have depth, and the world is interesting. The gameplay is pretty good. Things I wish were better - Better wardrobe options - The driving is a nightmare, the mechanics are absolutely terrible

Sherlock Holmes Chapter One

Interesting but very frustrating UX

The story of this game is enjoyable, even though an "imaginary friend" is out of character for Holmes, in my opinion. I was looking forward to a game where the focus is solving crimes. I love the Sherlock Holmes genre. Unfortunately, there are two things about the mechanics and UX that really mar the enjoyment. They both involve the Mind Palace, where you reconstruct crime scenes. First, even though you can rebind movement keys, you *cannot* change the binding for exiting the mind palace or for moving around the map. In the map, this isn't really a big deal. In the Mind Palace, it means I can't move forward since E is Exit. I have to walk sideways. Additionally, when piecing together a crime scene, there is a white overlay on everything, making it near impossible to deep in mind details about the different points of the scene. Is this pile of while eggshell looking thing on the snow white background the blood or the broken glass? This was doubly frustrating at one crime scene which was fairly spread out. I was crab walking around, having to turn occasionally to keep going in the right direction, trying to find my way back to the points of interest in the proverbial blizzard. This UX is so frustrating, that I have to keep my play sessions short to avoid getting fed up. It really makes me skeptical of purchasing another Frogwares game.

Hitman: Absolution

Stealth and plot good, mechanics meh

I like the story, and some of the gameplay. At times the mechanics seemed clunky and made 47 miss actions or get spotted.
