The classic Pharaoh gameplay with a fresh cost of paint. It could use some polish, and I hope it gets it, but I haven't encountered any serious bugs, and the game has been a lot of fun so far. I like the new graphics, and the music. Most of the new mechanisms seem like an improvement to me, and the UI is more functional, too. I've been very pleased to have this Good Old Game back. The fan patch from Nexus mods is recommended.
I loved this game. It was my introduction to the World of Darkness, which is a very interesting take on the vampire mythos. But what got me here was the well-written and voiced story, spanning the centuries. Fun gameplay, too. I actually enjoyed it more than Bloodlines. Glad to see it on GoG. At this price, it's a steal.
