S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl - Ultimate Edition

Good but needs patching

Overall it's good, there are a few things I find slightly strange, like triggers that spawn events as you're almost standing on top of them though I haven't seen this happen every time. I recall in the earlier stalker games they would give the player some distance on spawns. The game needs some patching as it takes too long to load when I want to play it, like 10 mins of loading shaders is just too long. I don't have a great PC but it's good enough to match the medium spec recommendation yet the game lags and stutters on occasion. once the game gets some patches it'll be great and feels like a stalker game, expect it to be difficult! I've had to reload several times already and I've been emersed in it's world regardless of how buggy it currently is. if you're on the fence give it some time to bake before you buy it.

Xenonauts 2

Similar to the first but better

So I'll start off by saying I really hated the first Xenonauts. But it wasn't the game play that threw me off it was the art style, I felt disconnected from the game while playing it because of it. I'm loving the art style in Xenonauts 2, it's got a retro charm but I can handle looking at my soldiers which is what I couldn't stand about the first game. If you like games like Xcom UFO defense then you might want to think about picking this one up, it's in early access, the roadmap is shown within the game and it's honestly been a long time since I've enjoyed an Xcom style game. When going into it expect a game more like Microprose Xcom, because it's nothing like Firaxis version of Xcom which I got bored of really quick.

Master of Magic

Fun, but so budgeted.

I enjoy what's here and I loved the old MoM also. but you can tell it was made on a big budget because there's so many little details missing graphicly. The biggest thing that hit me was casting. when you get transported to your wizards tower on spell cast completion they just use the same wizard image in a picture frame and I felt like it was cheap, I wanted to see my wizard in a 3d image like the original. There are many minor details that need to be fleshed out, like the 2 city screens, giving me the option to do everything in both screens would be a better choice. the build Que is a downgrade from CoM which I don't get either. I have more gripes but these are my biggest, I don't like the fact one of my favorite games was on such a tight budget but there is still fun to be had in this game, some of the magic is lost due to over budgeting.

Master of Magic - Caster of Magic for Windows

Why not free for owners of MoM and CoM?

Why would I have to buy this game yet again? I own the Origional on Disk, MoM on GOG and CoM on GoG, why not just give this update to owners of CoM for free? I don't want to have to buy this game a 4th time!
