I liked it alot. This game is perfect for playing between two big games or if you need a short break from the games you are currently playing. If you don't have much time to spend on games and you are looking for bite sized experiences this is for you as well. Once you get the hang of the combat system the game can feel a bit repetetive but thats not a big deal since it's such a short game. Which is actually a strength, it's the perfect length for what it offers. I would probably rate it 4 out of 5 but it gets a 1 star Indie bonus plus it was the game I needed when I was feeling overwhelmed after playing several bigger games. A perfect palette cleanser.
Still an amazing game with fun gameplay and an interesting story! Definetly stood thet test of time. I didn't play the remaster tho because I just couldn't get it running, seems to be a common problem. The game has some bugs, the one that happened to me was more little sister appearing than should. I read online If you get more than one extra little sister it might mess with your ending and you get the bad one even tho you saved them. Luckely there is only one area in the game where its highely likely that you get an extra one, In the other ones it seems to occure rarely. Don't know if its still in the remake.
Mayhem in Single Valley is a fun little puzzle/plattform adventure. The Visuals are realy cool, I like the overall style of it a lot. Gameplaywise it's good, nothing outstanding but well done. When playing the game you'll get into a flow and I enjoyed the flow alot. I recommend playing a demo. If the demo gets you into that flow, this game will most likely be one you'll enjoy. Story was interesting and served the game realy well.
Great Setting Great Story Great Charakter Great Voice Acting (literally every dialogue is voiced!) Great Soundtrack Great Visuals Fun Mini Games Thats everything what Wolfstride is and all it needs to be! Wolfstride is all about it's over the top anime like story. You talk to character, read and listen to dialog and sometimes watch a cutscene. Inbetween these you will walk around little areas and play mini games to earn money, pineapples and parts for your mech. Mini games range from skill based, to quick time events and timing. The Mech Fights are tactical turn based fights. The important Fights for story progression are probably the smallest part of Wolfstride, but you can have Mech Fights whenever you want to earn some extra cash an goodies. These mechaniks create a nice gameplay loop, you shouldn't expect deep game mechanics tho. Its a realy nice package and works great for me! I also love that you progress in (ingame) days, which allows you to have alot of control about how fast you want to progress and it also allows for short and long playing sessions. Playing for 30min to relax a bit? No problem just play a day or two. Want to Play for hours? No big deal eather. Just play as many days as you want.
4/5 is probably a little high but I like to much of what this game wants to be, For me it was a fun and interesting trip down the history of gaming. In my opinion it had some realy great mechanic ideas which I would love to see in modern games just better executed. For example I realy liked the sketch of a person you create based of the informations you got of conversations. This was super neat and made me feel like I was realy investigating. I also like that it wasn't a Point and Click adventure. The whole game would have worked as one, I'm not the biggest fan of how point and click games feel with very few exceptions. This made me enjoy the game more. Post Mortems Sequels the Still Life Series intrigue me, but I never finished the first one because of the point and click gameplay. The ending of the story didn't work for me tho I wished it would have ended more down to earth. I can recommend playing this out of interest for old games and interest in mystery. I also recommend having a guide open, so the game wont frustrate you, This could kill the experience for you. I found a guide which gave me several Hints before revealing the solution, this was the perfect solution for me.
Easy relaxing gameplay which compliments the story and dialog very well, Firewatch is all about it's story a story thats sad, funny, mysterious but most of all feels real. If you have an appreciation for stories in games or just stories in general you will not be disapointed!
Crossing Souls is a fun adventure and I absolutely love its vibe and references. I realy liked the the super natural teenager adventure story. That said I'm a sucker for stylish indie adventure games made with love, thats why I can oversee some flaws. My recomandation is play the demo, if you liked it and you imagine yourself enjoying a couple hours of this go for it! Don't expect any big gameplay changes tho.

After I tagged my first spot in the game I got lost in the world. I enjoyed it so much to have no real objective, besides explore and tag some spots. All the objectives didn't feel like I worked towards completing them, it just happened while I enjoyed the world and explored every corner of it. Only one negative for me, which is actually a pretty big one. The To Do List didn't work. None of the objectives got crossed of the list and didn't count the progress, except the smoking goal which freezed at 18/20. It didn't hurt my fun tho, thats why It is still 4 out of 5
