The Bard's Tale Trilogy

For people that didnt play the original.

Its worth playing if you like RPG games in any shape or form. The games gamplay may be of the old ways but its still a fun turn based combat. The art and rpg elements also suck you in wanting to try more.

Death's Gambit: Afterlife

A solid metroidvenia game!

This game blew me away. It starts out slow with you learning the combat and at first it may feel clunky or slow, but as you grow accustomed to it rolling, dodging and counter attacking will become second nature, and they will need to be because this game is tough, and you will die, a lot. The enemy design is varied and unique, the world is well connected and has enough secrets to keep you searching everywhere, and the bosses are incredible. Seriously these bosses are just absolutely amazing, fun, varied, exciting and hard. Brutally hard. There are also a few curveballs and unique twists throughout that are best experienced blind. This game will not be for everyone however. Some people may not be a fan of the combat, some people may not like the design, but I think everyone should look into this game and if you are interested give it a go.

We Happy Few

It had potential.

We Happy Few tries to combine a dystopian story with a survival gameplay, but these aspects don't quite work together and sometimes even step on each other's toes. Also the execution of the game as a whole, leaves a lot to be desired.

Wizard of Legend

Wizard of Legend

Is a pretty badass roguelike game that can prove both fun and challenging at the same time. With a very large plethora of spells, every run becomes unique as you strive to find the perfect set of spells to combo together. Haven't had a chance to try it yet but from what I have seen so far, the multiplayer (both the versus and the dungeon runs) seem well done and an experience that simply adds a plus to everything. Highly recommended if this genre suits you.
