Firstly, thank you for the day one Linux port. I had no trouble getting it to work on Debian 8 after installing the required packages and a reboot. The thing I dislike about Binding of Isaac is that I plain suck at dodging. This game adds several ways to avoid hits without being amazing at dodging. Cover: both permanent and temporary, dodge-roll: a way to safely pass-through bullets when trapped, blanks: destroys all bullets onscreen. Game looks amazing, lots of detail in every gun, bullet, effect and enemy. Room layouts are decent, although sometimes not matching the number of enemies that appear. Has a decent co-op unlike isaac, I'm yet to try it yet though, unfortunately it's local only. My main complaint so far is just random pits that don't look obviously like pits which take a while for you to get used to.
