Got this as part of the black Friday sale. For 2 bucks, pretty much a no-brainer. What a wonderful game. Get ready for about 5 hours of beautiful puzzle solving and a cute story. Love the in-game walk through too! Not gonna lie, helped out once or twice.
I absolutely love this game. The graphics are good, like most sprite games they age very well. The gore in this game is not as over the top as in games like Blood, Duke or ROTT, but it's there. Enough to be satisfying ;) The gameplay is straight forward and the fact that I love the game despite its absolutely retarded controls just tells you how great it is. Any other game this clumsy would go right in my virtual trash bin. But Crusader makes up for its shortcomings with awesome action, cool weapons and gadgets. The amount of ways to off enemies is staggering!
I love retro games, but this is like pulling teeth...
The puzzles are sometimes very goofy. Sometimes it comes down to "try everything on anything" unfortunately...,
OMG, this game is so awesome. At first glance it feels like there isn't much content in this game, but rest assured, there is more than you have time play. Due to the fact that the game comes with a map / campaign editor only your imagination is the limit. This was a fun little old school adventure. Never heard of it before, but I gave it a shot anyway. Beat the game in a couple of hours. Unfortunately I had to consult the walk through a couple of times. Especially in the beginning the "puzzles" are very trial and error heavy. Good game though, nice graphics, nice audio and a good sense of humor.
