As expected, this game takes me back to when i first saw and played it when i was young, Good thing that GOG offers these gems, I still got my CD but couldn't get t to run as good as I hoped. The game is a classic hack&slash game with 4 different characters, I only player Tukaram the Barabrian and Sargon the Knight. Now, over 20 years later I get to enjoy it with the the Amazon and dwarf as well. Gameplay and combat might seem a bit dated compared by todays 2025 gmae standards (who in their right mind would even compare that) but is solid, there is a wide aray of weapons and combos. I didn't encounter any gamebreaking bugs so far. Graphics and dismemberment (yes, you can slice and dice enemies to your hearts content) are also pretty good and were brilliant back then, also you can get some mods that also increase graphics, with better textures if need be. Just keep in mind that some mods won't work with the latest patch, so chosse a earlier version. I can totally recommend this game, the level variety is great, there are secrets to find, and the combat, while sometimes being a bit odd (relating to hitboxes) is great. Only thing I dislike are the achievements, I get that nowadays every game has to have them, and I still get the dopamine hit when one plops off, but I loved the time when i just played a game for the sake of it and tried to get everything done out of curiosity. So, the short of it: If you are looking for a great old game that offers nice music, solid levels and fun combat with many different weapons and combos, go get it!
Oh dear, when i first got this game back in...I dont remember when, it was on a CD in a magazine, and it was the game on the cover no less. I beat it then, i beat it now, and gonna beat it again in the future. I only wish it were a bit longer, and that it would be possible to level up everything a bit easier, but still, it's solid. The graphics are good for it's release time, the gameplay overall is solid. The AI-companions are a bit dumb sometimes, but eh, what can you expect from a game this old. It's still enjoyable today, is all I can say.
