Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition

Amazing game

The game is amazing and is fun to play. The combat is great, and the town building is a lot of fun. I love how it is DRM free and doesn't require an internet connection to play.

Silent Hill 4: The Room

Mostly a bad game

I've recently beaten this game from start to end, and I have to say that the game was mostly bad. The game has a good start, the beginning was mysterious and very interesting, but after 30 minutes or less it started to get boring. The combat and the controls were bad, especially with the camera angles. The areas were mostly uninteresting. There was one interesting enemy, but many of the enemies were uninteresting especially the ghosts which gets annoying and used way too often. There was no buildup between the main characters and the main villain. Without spoiling anything, the story was boring, and most of the characters felt bland. You have to read the memos if you want to get any idea of what is going on and on how to defeat the ghosts, if you didn't you will become more confused. The inventory system was annoying. You can carry up to 10 items, each 10 bullets of the handgun are considered 1 item. You have to go back to the apartment to dump the items before picking up the key items.

The Evil Within

A Fun Horror Game

I like playing survival horror games as long as they are fun and not brutal. The gameplay is good and doesn't get repetitive thanks to the variety in gameplay elements and mechanics. The boss fights are memorable. The style of the game and the details are mostly good. The controls feels a little clunky at first, but after getting used to it it didn't make things difficult. The story is enjoyable, but it does have it flaws. The transition from one scene to the next was done really well. The story is a bit confusing, and even after beating the main story line I still didn't understand everything that was going on. One of the main flaws is that many of the deaths that I have encountered are one hit kills. Another flaw is that some sections are about trial and error, and you may have to repeat a section a few times to get it right before being able to continue the game. Thankfully, there are a lot of checkpoints. The game took around 12 hours to beat on my first playthrough. I definitely recommend it to those who enjoy horror games and movies.
