In all honesty, the game had potential but potential does not make a game that is worth buying if the potential is never reached. This game is part of a project that has been in the development for at least 9 years and was promised to their backers to be released and delivered in May 2012, now soon 7 years ago. The game promised many features which never arrived. Features like an open world to explore, six different types of magic, ranged weapons, equipment customization and much more. The game in its current state is tedious, frustrating and mundane. There is some novelty to it, that it being a physics-based game, yet that novelty wears off within minutes if you've ever played a physics-based game before, like Human: Fall Flat or any Totally Accurate -- game by Landfall. The most fun you can find in this game lies in the Arena, not in the main game, where you instead walk a dungeon which feels more like a maze, sprinkled with various enemies, where ultimately your only goal is to find slightly better equipment along the way and find the right door needed to progress. The enemies themselves aren't particularly intelligent, but that's mostly excused away by saying things like "they are undead of sorts" like zombies. In terms of RPG elements, there's not much to come for at all. There's no real dialogue and all the story you will ever find will come in the form of various books or notes that the player may as well just skip reading or completely miss, all while not feeling sorry in any way about it. This game is really not what it says on the tin.

This game contains single-use CD-keys which has to be redeemed online. It can not be redeemed offline. If GOG is going to release such a game on this site, please put a big red label on it instead of that misleading "DRM-FREE" title. Keep your promises GOG.
