Cyberpunk 2077

I got what I expected and then some.

This is an amazing game. I expected to get a decent, futuristic game with a good story and memorable characters and this game more than delivered. It's an RPG, maybe not fullfledged at that, but still there is a great focus on dialogue, character development and, to some degree, skill checks. The main story is incredibly well delivered and your experience is affected greatly by the side missions you choose to do. The characters are memorable and I noticed that I really cared what happens to these characters. The city itself is incredible. For me it's one of the best open worlds ever created. There are some technical problems with it, such as crowd AI is so dumb it's sometimes painfully obvious and for some reason roads seem to have a lot of cars when you look far to the distance butthen they disappear when you get closer. If you look very closely there are also some other stuff going on, like NPCs lips not moving when they talk, but I don't personally even care about stuff like that when I play and focus on my own story. Gunplay is fun and the sound desing packs a punch with all guns. Also the soundtrack is _incredible_! Soundtrack is one big reason I chose to travel without fast travel. When it comes to performance, I've seen a lot of discussion about how badly this game runs. For some reason this is not true in my case. My system specs are: -i5 9600k clocked 4,3GHz -RTX 2060 Gaming Z 6Gb -16 gigs RAM -Samsung EVO 970+. What I can tell, this game runs buttery smooth without long loading screens. No, I don't stare fps counters to see if my game dares to dib below 60fps. The game feels good to play and doesn't struggle when my settings are almost maxed out without RT playing with 1080p resolution. This definately is my kind of game and you should read this review knowing that. There was some bugs I encountered before 1.04 but a lot of them are ironed out now.
