The Suffering: Ties That Bind

Time to suffer again

Ties that bind does not have the same flaws that the suffering has but flaws none the less. This game looks better and plays better however the hit boxes are pretty bad as you can empty an clip and not an single bullet wil hit making your game experience even worse. The game introduces these special monsters that can only be killed using your beast form which does get annyoing near the end levels. Probably one of the worst boss battles that you can have in an game like this makes that fight extremely frustrating. Overall the game is pretty enjoyable and you can import your save from the first game.

Disney's Hercules

Old school nostalgia

Played this game when had my first pentium 1. Game was difficult at that time but replaying it now it was an breeze. The Hydra and Medusa fights are one of my favorites in this game. Hercules just brings back pure nostalgia. 10/10

The Suffering

It is medicore at best

The sufferinng does not hold up at all. It crashes allot making the experience extremely bad. You can avoid the crashes by deleting an audio file and config file but that then your games sound is broken so you will never hear enemies sneaking up on you. The games AI and hitboxes are atrocious and the bullets seem to shoot everywhere except for the monsters. The story is ok and the game has an morality system build in so you can choose if you are going the good or bad path with your actions. 3/10

Clive Barker's Undying

This needs an remaster

When this game released around 2001 it was an unnerving and frightening experience. Replaying it now it is till unnerving but not so much frightening. Undying is an absolute stunner as the story, sound, music and gameplay just melds perfrectly. Developers do no make games like this anymore and it is such an shame. Over the years you can see that EA has become an empty shell of an company and just churns out garbage. Nevertheless Undying is still one my favorite action horror titles. 10/10

Silent Hill 4: The Room

Back to horror

When this game released back in the day it sure was an frightening experience. Playing this now it has none of those effects anymore however the anxiety is still there when you must drag your companion with you in the second half of the game to try an make sure she survives the end game. The combat is not the best but this an common trade in Silent Hill games. I enjoyed the game back then and I enjoyed it now. 7/10
