This game is absolutely amazing and great fun despite the horrendous English voice acting. Since the source code release some people have taken to improve the game and they are doing a fantastic job.
Full screen does not work - instant freezes the game and no way to get it running.
Very good game, very fun, especially with mods that fix age old bugs. If only modern games were like this one. <3
I just got this on sale and tried to play it on my machine. Everything on the screen is either blurry, edgy, and/or flashing between lighter and darker. That last one specifically affects the water. Of which, as you may know, there is a lot in this game. The text is also blurry and hard to read without squinting. All of this makes the whole experience rather unpleasant. Would have loved to play this as I remember playing the 1st Port Royale a long time ago, but, I just can't, sadly. If only I had a good old potato PC to match.
