So the game is good. It's a Souls-like with a lot fo personality. Production values aren't as good from the animation to the voice acting but obviously it's a lower budget game and they devs made something that still looks really good. Controls and mechanics are also very good for the most part. One BIG problem: When you pause and hit resume the game locks on a blank screen with the cursor on it. This happened to me multiple times within the first hour of playing, forcing me to close the game and lose progress. It also keeps me from changing my controls because, even in the main menue, the changes to the controls I made never carried over. There was also a glitch when getting the first gauntlet, where the character froze in place and didn't respond to inputs for about 30 seconds. If these bugs were fixed I'd give it another star. At $30 especially. First it's an older game at this point and second these game breaking bugs are irritating and unacceptable. The base game itself is still really good fun though.
