This is my favourite Fallout game and I would even say it's the best Fallout ever made. The story is so well written, the characters are charming, likeable and sometimes tragic. It's an utterly great installment and feels like the true sequel to Fallout 2, Fallout 3 was pretty bad and it really wasn't a sequel to Fallout 2. Even on it's own, it's brilliant but it's better with mods. Install texture mods as the vanilla textures haven't aged that well. The modding community for this game is also brilliant.
