GREAT GAME. I LOVE RE! But holy crap its the old port where you get a TON of goodies and NOTHING ELSE GOOD. Muddiest version by far visually, and there is no in game way to change controls like RE 1 or 2. Easy and Hard mode are super far ends of the spectrum too, its nuts. If its the only version avilable to you it is fine, but if you were hoping for a new port, its the same sad one from back in the day. You can change controls in the game files tho. Good luck have fun, but this one is the weakest of the GOG releases
I've played almost every version of the original RE, and this one feels like the classic PC port with just a smidge more QOL addons. I'm pretty happy with this version!
