KCD has a vibrant open world, and better graphics than even the Witcher 3. It's frankly incredible that such as small team managed to achieve this alone, but not only that: KCD has an excellent and lengthy story, and its unique game mechanics make it a very immersive experience. KCD is my second favourite game (only beaten by the Witcher 3). I can't really recommend it more.
For the first 3 hours the story draws you in with mystery and a creepy atmosphere; however, the final hour that closes the story is anti-climactic and disappointing. First 3 hours: 5 stars Final hour: 2 stars I believe the game is worth the price when on sale.
I started playing in May 2019 and I'm really enjoying No Man's Sky. Hello Games has made so many improvements since launch that I would recommend only reading reviews from the last year. Features to be released this summer: - Vulkan support will hopefully fix some of the performance issues - full VR support is being added!
I was slightly disappointed when I found that the next game in the Witcher universe was at heart, a card game. I bought it partly because of my faith in CDPR, but I was prepared for it to be "ok". Thankfully, my trust was not misplaced, and the game surpassed expectations to an incredible degree. Thronebreaker is an engaging, beautifully written adventure with amazing voice acting. The card mechanics are actually very fun, and the artwork and animations look stunning in 4K. Only CDPR could turn a card game into one of the most compelling RPGs since The Witcher 3! I really, really hope they make The Witcher Tales into a series.
