Great Game

Highly recommend. Solid dungeon crawler base but there are so many additional elements that make this game a treat. The new update Rags to Riches is amazing.

Cyberpunk 2077

PC Version Does Not Deserve the Hate

I can't speak for the console versions, but I can say that my experience on PC has been great so far. The world feels alive and a place I really want to explore. It takes significant influence from some of my favorite Sci Fi staples such as: Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (the book that Bladerunner is based off), the movie Bladerunner of course, Neuromancer (the book that is the father of all cyberpunk), and a recent example: Altered Carbon (I never read the books for that). The gunplay is exciting and the tech feels awesome, and powerful. I am playing on the hardest difficulty so I need to be able to dodge around like crazy. I have run into a few bugs, but they are trivial. Again, this is just my experience on PC. TLDR: If you have a good PC then give the game a try. Ignore the criticism and decide for yourself, instead of being like so many others that feel it is cool to go after Cyberpunk right now but never have any intention to play it. The game is great-try it for yourself instead of listening to others.

Disco Elysium

Just Finished-Wow. Game was Awesome!

Bought this on GOG and played it nonstop for days. My total run was 22 hours and I did most of the tasks. The game really brought back fond memories for me of Planescape:Torment, a game I consider the closest thing to a playable novel there is. While there was no real combat in the game, the story itself kept driving me. As I went to sleep (in real life) I kept thinking about the case and who could have done it, where was my next lead, and did I check all the angles in every area? It's been quite some time since a game did this to me. If you are on the fence, please just buy the game. I'm already thinking about my next run and how I want to build my character. Word of advice, explore every angle in this game. Also, do not ask every question before proceeding forward as games have taught us to do for years now. Only ask what YOU want to ask, don't feel like you need to exhaust every piece of dialogue before proceeding. In this game, sometimes NOT asking that off question or saying that off comment, is a good thing. Enjoy! Buy the game!

Planescape: Torment

The Best Western RPG of All Time

Hands down... book closed.,. So I just finished this game and wow-really amazing. For a game made in 1999 as well it still looks and feels really great. If you like western style rpgs (BG, BGII, Fallout, Neverwinter) then you are literally hurting yourself, like your own arm is separated and you are beating yourself with it, by not getting this game. Thank you GOG, Bioware, and Black Isle for making this amazing game. I can finally sleep. So a question for you. What can change the nature of a man? ... Play the game and find out!
