I love sci-fi; Just set your expectations right and I think most sci-fi story fans will get their money's worth. It's more of a story driven game and interactivity is limited.
Had to stop at "Council of the Stars" due to a lack of player agency about 60 hours in. I enjoyed the game up until that point but the only path forward was blocked - as I will not participate in the game's religious system. Its normal to have a lot of this in other DnD type games but usually I can play without such a roadblock. Posting this review as I could not find accurate info on the religion in the game.
I waited for so long for this to go on sale; it has outstanding reviews so I thought I'd give it a try even though it didn't look like my type of game. I've been playing it practically every day for five months
