It's been 22 years since the abysmal PC release. GOG has gone back and redone this PC port to better suit modern hardware. They have fixed audio and visual cues and introduced support for modern controls. GOG has breathed new life into Breath of Fire. There is much to be desired, but it's nice to be able to finally return to the cult classic. You won't be getting button prompts to suit your controller choice but it's still very much playable. I would highly recommend playing this if you're a classic jrpg fan.

Pressing Y again should make it go back to your pistol. In most cases you cannot lock onto bad guys if your back is turned. It won't always work to aim with the left trigger and try to fire with the right trigger. Jango Fett frequently keeps his handguns by his sides until you decide to move him. Switching targets while using the lockon won't always function if the adversary is too far away. I honestly had a better time with the original control scheme. The modern control scheme needs tweaking in order to feel viable.
