I'll start this off by saying that this review is based on the fact that you get the game up-and-running. The installation process is still pretty awful. I'll add the steps I did to get it running at the bottom. However, this mod is honestly far better than what Bethesda themselves have done for recent years. It still has the Bethesda feeling in the world, quest and character building, but with a more mature tone (British humor and use of swears as examples). It has addressed some of the typical Fallout-engine bugs but still has the wonky ragdolls and other things that somewhat make Bethesda games charming. The only thing I was kinda missing was a deeper connection between the minor factions (like the Roundels/Vagabonds) and the main factions (Camelot/Angel). It's surprising to see the main story being so good in the Fallout universe. I'm removing a star due to the above lack of connection and the way they treated armor where you're practically given a mod to cloth armor that makes all other armor redundant. It's great for RP but less so for anything else. --- Installation guide that worked for me --- 1. Remove all previous instances of Fallout 4. This also includes anything in Vortex 2. Install Fallout 4 GOTY followed by Fallout London 3. Start Fallout 4 to let configs generate 4. Open Vortex and create a modded profile 5. Install F4SE 6. Zip the data folder in the Fallout London folder 7. Import that as a mod in Vortex (nothing will happen for a few moments, don't click anything) 8. Start the game via Vortex (probably wants to deploy) 9. You should be loaded into Fallout London 10 (optional). You probably want to install High FPS Fix 11. Copy the settings from "Fallout London/_Config" to "Documents/Fallout 4" 12. Start the launcher in order to set graphics settings 13. Only start it via Vortex from now on
