I'm glad Nightdive remastered this old gem of a game from the N64 era. As a kid, I tried (and failed) to play this game on the N64, but found it to be too difficult, given the horrendously short draw distance and awful control scheme. Both of those things have now been fixed in this remaster, and the game is now much more accessible. I had a lot of fun! The levels are huge and filled with cool things to find. My only complaint is that the enemies respawn too quickly. Especially on the later levels, you will often find yourself just running past enemies to save on ammo (which is a limited resource), since they're just going to respawn anyways. As a result, you rarely feel safe enough to do a lot of thorough exploration. And given how obscure some of the secrets are, you will definitely need a guide if you are trying to 100% everything. But aside from that, I wouldn't sleep on this game if you're into old school shooters- the music, the level design, the weapons, the bosses, and the whole overall presentation is excellent and definitely worth playing!
