My GOTY for 2023 (either this or Trepang2). The first game had some cool ideas and puzzles, but aged like shit. This however, is damn near close to a perfect game.
You all know why this is great, I don't need to tell ya.

The shitty RPG mechanics are the worst part, I'd do some research before starting, rather than lose 3 playthroughs and 5 hours of time like I did. And fuck the weapon degradation.
Reminds me of middle school, made me laugh endlessly back then, and it still does. My advice, speed through the game, unlock enhanced mode, and then stick with it forever. Also, machete is the secret.
It's fun, the entire game is fun, it feels good to play. Except for the hospital level.
Story is shit, but I don't really care about that. Goes on too long. Has some terrible missions, but so did the first game. Overall it just feels like the first game, but missing something.
Feels good to play, has the right balance of planning and thought (unlike the early rainbow six games, which I could never get into). It's fun, but challenging. It's quick but requires thought. Only problem is that getting multiplayer to work is a pain in the ass. My advice would be to install gameranger, have all you friends install gameranger, then fuck around in a coop match.
This game just doesn't feel good to play. Swat 4 felt good, it was fun, it was challenging. This game feels more tedious. Still fun though.
