Medal of Honor is my favorite WWII FPS franchise and I've been playing the games since the original PlayStation. There is something about the console versions that are more immersive and enjoyable overall, Allied Assault just feels souless in comparsion. Allied Assault isn't a bad game by any means, but I'd strongly recommend also playing the games available on console starting with the original Medal of Honor, but be warned the series got stale after Rising Sun and Eurpean Assault. Got about 25 hours in this and enjoyed it for what it was, definitely worth $10.

I really enjoyed the main story and it's obvious a lot of heart went into it, but I feel like the life path you choose should have a greater impact on the story and the world aroud you, not just some extra dialog options and a new starting point. Some of the items in the game world feel pointless like the thousands of vending machines and vehicles with no real incentive to buy or use them, lack of customization and I feel like the gun attachments could have been explored deeper or even the ability to paint them, another missed oppurtinity is the lack of cyberware. This is supposed to be an RPG, it would be nice to be able to purchase apartments and customize them and edit / modify your characters appearance after character creation, side quests can be bland at times. This being a cyberpunk game I have to say it was a big dissapointment not having flying cars, would be pretty awesome to see Night City from the sky. The game is very detailed, but yet lacks detail. Overall it still feels incomplete. That said, I have to say this is my favorite game in recent years and the story kept me engaged. I'd hope to see some of the things if not all that I mentioned above implemented with future updates, and I'm hoping for some big DLC.
