First, game runs fine on windows 10 (x86) since it isn't mentioned under Game details, if you use Glide then you should have at least 4 GB of RAM though you will be ok with direct 3D. There are some bugs in the game but nothing special, one maybe a little annoying bug is when you kill some enemy, death animation doesn't finish but you get exp so you will be ok with it. If you are going to pause your game for a while don't pause it with the space button, rather exit to game menu - otherwise game can crash, freeze and sometimes after you exit the game there will be additional game process working and music will still be playing. I liked the idea of choosing any skill from any class, though for sure I would like that there is more description of skills in the game, some skill descriptions are wrong e.g. Enchant weapon is also able to enchant any gear you have. It would be great if there was some merchant that would allow you to reset your skills. "The game is long, challenging and very addictive." Yes, the game is very long, though sometimes I had a feeling that I'm not sure what to do hence even though after I passed over the whole maps I was unable to find some things and hence I had some quests left unsolved. For challenge play above normal, normal is challenging at the beginning, but with the Divine One part it was just too easy. Was it very addictive, well if it wasn't I wouldn't stay up to 3 am to finish the game. :) Music I think that there was some problem with music, and maybe that part in some way was not so compatible with windows 10, but not sure, at some points music will just stop and sometimes it doesn't play at all or it takes a lot of time to start. But once it starts playing it is really nice, often I would leave game menu open just to listen to the music, actually I think you hear birds while in the game menu. There is a lot of things to say, but you can't experience it by reading reviews, go and play the game, and for sure you will enjoy it.
This game is just like Fate but with better graphic, as I know some of Torchlight developers were the same as they were for Fate. This is a game that you can play only once, imo. You go down through Floors, picking up quests in town and I guess that is it, main quest is kinda short, also there is no replay value. After you finish the main quest there is really no point playing it again or going through that another set of Floors you can enter (unlocks for all characters after you finish the main quest), nor playing Portals levels, or using the maps - it was kinda boring for me. You have 3 characters, they have a little different story - you can play for that reason but I would say that story is short too and it is not that you will read story constantly, by the time you have some new lore you will already forget the previous one. Level design isn't bad but that is all. There are some features, like shared stash, maps, even gambling, enchanting your gear but I would say that those features weren't implemented smoothly in the game, I didn't had the reason to use any of those, even the crafting was so-so. Grab it on discount, it is good enough for one playthrough. If you want improvment, there was one really great upgrade for this game, and its name is: Torchlight II.
Just WOW. Played it for a little bit only, and all I can say is that I'm ashamed for not playing this game before, not only that, I really don't remember if I've ever heard of this game before. All good I can say about the game has been already told by others. Just buy the game and you won't regret it.
