I played this game from launch and didn't experience any severe bugs or peoblems on the technical side. However, what I experienced was a tremendous disappointment gameplaywise. This game was never a RPG. A fantastic amount of promises were made prior to launch and none were delivered. I did one playthrough and uninstalled, but I have since hoped CDPR could salvage this game over time. One year in They have apparently fixed a lot of bugs and glitches, but nothing has been done about the fantasticially bland world/characters/plotline - uninstalled yet again.
This game has so much potential. It takes almost all of the good things from the first game and expand on them quite considerably. All but one, that is. The combat system is simply broken, flawed at best, compared to the first game, and I find it too frustrating to enjoy what could ave been one of the best RPG games of all time. That being said, if you are the sneak-about type, or just in to explopring, do buy the game.
This might have been a decent game in its day, but it does'nt live up to todays standards. By that, I don't mean graphics-wise, but only that the mechanics are way off. Playing the game on hard setting is impossible, cuz the AI will hit you every time resulting in too much depending on luck to complete the missions. Playing the game on easy-setting gets tedious relatively quick. That being said the graphics are actually quite nice for an old game, and I remember being rather fond of the game, back in the day, since it was the only one of its kind (western-theme-shoot-em-up-sandbox) at the time. Still, this was a nice trip down memory lane, but I would'nt recommend it to newcomers. There are far supererior mgames out there...
