Wow, what a fun game. I spent hours with Caesar and his proconsul when the game was new and loved it then. I was a little unsure about the gaming experience I could expect when I found it again here at GOG. But it was like meeting up with a long lost pal. Actually brought tears to my eyes when the load screen flashed on and I heard that distinctive voice. If you loved a game in the past, then definitely give it a try here. Yes, the graphics are a lot more raw, kinda like the lines on a friend's face. But the playability, the wonder-- its all still there.
