One of my favorite scrolling shooters since I was little. More complex than the usual collecting powerups in mission, you can buy them between missions instead! This adds more strategy to the usual pure reflex gameplay of this genre, and I LOVE IT! Or if you feel like cheating, hit backspace in mission to get a free DEATHRAY! And can you unlock the secret extra hard Animal Mode? The "Raptor 2010 Edition" is not as nice as the original, in my opinion. The only music available is the lower quality MIDI, which hurts one of my favorite parts of the game. And the filtering used to try and "smooth out" the pixels makes the game look more blurry than smooth. You might be better off finding a copy of the original game and DOSBox somewhere else if you can. But if you do not mind lower quality music and graphics, then GET THIS GAME!
