I love it so far!
I certainly recommend it. It might be linear but very well made.
It is really really good. It made me want to play over and over again for hours on end. It is demanding even on easy difficulty so you'll need a lot of hours to understand what must be done and in what order. The only bad thing I can think of is that I would like the main story to be longer.
Seeing so many good reviews I thought it would be a nearly perfect game, but unfortunately it is so far from that. The only part I enjoyed is the combat and that because I played co-op. There are so many things I didn't like I don't know where to begin. Basically I didn't like anything else. I find the story confusing and uninteresting, the quests are even more confusing and the journal doesn't help at all. I hated the camera work from the beginning and 100 hours later my opinion hasn't improved. I feel like everything is just a mess with only a few good points. There are so many details I hate I cannot remember them all. And the portraits of the characters are just so bad! Of course this is a minor thing but still. The game left me with a bad taste, it didn't make me feel excited to play.
I loved this game. I understand it surely isn't perfect, a lot of thing could be improved but I just liked it. It gave me the feeling of the old rpgs though of course it is different. I liked the story though it was a bit confusing in the beginning. I loved the dlcs, I think they are well made. It made me really excited to play PoE2.
