System Shock

The father of Bioshock

One thing I hate about Remakes in general is wanting to modify elements of the original game at all costs: modify dialogues or parts of the story. Luckily, this Remake keeps all the spirit and design of the original game intact but with an updated engine (Unreal Engine 4). System Shock is the father of such games as Bioshock, Dishonored, Prey. This game is developed by indie developers, is not sold at full price and has no DRM. Please, support this game!

The Entropy Centre

A hidden gem.

Is this Portal 3? interesting plot with hilarious characters. Very ingenious puzzles and the ability to rewind objects to solve puzzles is very original and fun. This game was made by only one developer. A hidden gem.

Life is Strange: Complete Season

One of the best game i played

I still remember when i was downloaded the first chapter in cracked version, once finished the first episode I realized the incredible quality of this game: the characters, the beautiful story full of twists, the locations and the musics was amazing. So i have bought he whole season on Steam ( 20 euros) in 2015 . After 5 years I am proud that my money went again to these incredible developers and this beautiful platform. I just want to say: THANK YOU DONTNOD AND GOG

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire

Important evolution

There are profound improvements compared to the first PoE. The graphics engine has been revised and now there are new animations, a new lighting system and more defined textures. Even the GDR mechanics are deeper and now you can create characters with dual class (for example magician and warrior together) but despite this, the system is easier and more satisfying to learn than the first, ( especially for the skill tree when you level up ) . The combat system remains similar to the first, but thanks to the new graphic effects it becomes more fun. Then there are also absolute novelties such as naval battles that give the game more variety. I also personally consider the most successful and original pirate setting. While PoE 1 had a fantasy setting too classic and trivial for me. Another thing I appreciate is the reputation you can have with your party companions. In fact, depending on the choice we will make in a certain dialogue, our party members will "interfere" in the discussion and will agree with us or not. Increasing or decreasing their loyalty to us. (We can also have romantic stories with some of them). Even narratively it seems slightly better than the first chapter. In fact I must admit that the incipit of the first PoE is slow and boring; you do not understand clearly the way they want to take the developers at the beginning. While in this chapter, our goal is clear to us right from the start. The only thing I do not like, are less detailed descriptions and dialogues compared to the first chapter ( because of Chris's departure? ). Moreover the comapnions are not memorable, but they are ok. 4/5

Project Warlock

Appearances are deceiving...

This game seems apparently a simple Doom clone, but that is actually much much deeper, with original gdr mechanics: Every time you finish a level, you'll be teleporting to the main hub ( called workshop ) where you can buy spells, upgrade weapons and climb level (with ability points). Also very nice graphics in pixel art and lightning effects, level design and soundtrack. This game was created by a 19 year old boy. Unbelievable! P.S: If they put support for mods or a levels editor, it would be perfect

Pathfinder: Kingmaker - Enhanced Plus Edition

Great game

Truly a great game ... in my opinion better than PoE. Well-characterized characters, excellent setting, very customizable gameplay (skill, class, and level of difficulty). - The Good: Storytelling and characters Deep and very customizable gameplay artistic style - The Bad: (Spoiler Alert): I do not agree with the choice of inserting a "time limit" to complete the main quest It is not possible to speed up the game like in PoE Graphically it is not the best

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Great quality and passion

A video game of this quality happens once every 10 years. Are there any bugs? Yes, but no more than Skyrim or any other open world RPG AAA. This video game was made by an independent team with less than 100 people. The story is immediately exciting, thanks to a humble protagonist. Furthermore the dialogues are written with great care. The combat system can like you or not. Personally making a combat system so "realistic" and technical, I consider it a courageous and original choice. As well as for the realistic setting of the Middle Ages. The fantasy setting is overly abused in video games lately.

Pillars of Eternity: Hero Edition

Good RPG

PoE start slow and can come to boredom after a short time... But, when Act II is reached, history becomes more profound and interesting... like a cup of milk with honey, when you approach the bottom of the cup, the milk becomes increasingly sweet. PRO: - Lore and story. - Level Design of the dungeons. - Many factions and varieties of enemies. - Many moral choices for characters dialogues. - Excellent Art Design. - Violent and outspoken (not politically correct). VERSUS: - Fantasy setting is too classic and "trivial". - Too many loadings. - Just a few really funny characters. - Casting spells is limited by rest - Poor dubbing of the characters. - Poor loot variety from enemies. - Anonymous musics 7.8/10
